Olivenhain plot

Dave and Tracy asked for a unique front yard landscape, and we did our best to deliver. This is a true Pandemic Garden in every sense. WFH (work from home) and EFH (eat from home) were the drivers for this front-yard mega plot. Fruit trees were sited along the east-facing slope and the rest of the non-edible landscape is covered by naturalized natives and low-water varieties. The Garden itself is an enclosed oasis with a large central table that doubles as a cooktop. Add some night-lights and a few speakers and it's a true garden party.

What a fun and transformative project this was. The dog days of Covid didn’t stop us from getting this garden ready for early Spring 2021 planting.

Thank yous all around to our clients and team for making this one of our favorite projects to date.

Project highlights

Entry cast in place concrete and cedar screen, timber steps, lots of rocks, excessively custom 6x6 Cedar sleeper garden beds. Decomposed granite underfoot.
